OUR VISION FOR HUDSON HALL

Hudson Hall is driven by a civic and social purpose founded in the belief that culture is central to our shared heritage, identity, and future.
The Fund for Hudson Hall is a $3 million fund to be raised over the next four years to secure our role as an anchor institution, a central provider of inclusive, quality cultural programs and experiences with outsized economic impact, now and into the future.
The Fund for Hudson Hall will help us achieve our mission to:

Maintain our Historic Building
In 2017, we completed a $9.5m restoration and reopened our magnificent performance hall. It is our collective responsibility to ensure the future of this 165-year landmark.

Play a Pivotal Role in our Community
Hudson Hall’s Workforce Development Program provides Hudson youth with the skills and knowledge needed to meet the needs of local businesses and organizations.

Serve our Community
Hudson Hall offers a year-round program of free cultural and educational programs, including hands-on art workshops and after-school programs, as well as community-wide events such as Winter Walk. Programs such as the Shared Streets initiative, the Hudson Jazz Festival, and community partnerships have further cemented Hudson Hall’s position as a vital resource for the city and the region.

Support the Live Arts
Hudson Hall’s reputation for high quality innovative, diverse, and relevant artistic and community programming has grown exponentially. The programming has reflected the distinctiveness and range one would expect from a much larger organization to serve local audiences, but also draw visitors to Hudson from around the region, state, nationally, and even from around the world.

Nurture artists and their work
Committed to supporting artists in the creation of new work, Hudson Hall provides residencies to artists in all disciplines, such as:
- Choreographers Adam H. Weinert, Lucinda Childs and Mariana Valencia
- The string quartet ETHEL
- Composer and percussionist Bobby Previte
