“No stress, no filler, just great music with top-notch sound” — UK Jazz News
Taking place the first weekend of October, the Hudson Jazz Festival is an annual, citywide celebration of one of America’s most vital art forms. Launched in 2018 and curated by creative producer Cat Henry, the festival invites audiences to experience fall in the Hudson Valley through a dynamic lineup of jazz’s most exciting rising stars.
Each year, the festival presents nationally recognized artists on Hudson Hall’s historic main stage, emerging voices in venues across the city, and free pop-up performances in parks, restaurants, bars, galleries, and retail spaces. The festival also offers free educational workshops that connect young musicians with professional artists.
Past Hudson Jazz Festival artists include Sheila Jordan, Jazzmeia Horn, The Baylor Project, Ethan Iverson, Marquis Hill, Endea Owens, Aaron Parks, and many more.
