When porn star Buzz Idol is invited to perform aboard an all-gay cruise ship around Italy, his self-conscious editor Alex is forced to get on board. With no shortage of baggage, Buzz, Alex, and a colorful cast of characters navigate the Mediterranean and each other, healing old wounds along the way. 

The Gay Boat: Italy is a funny, filthy, and surprisingly tender story about finding your people, even when you’re out at sea.

Rich Volo lives in Hudson with his dogs. He maintains the popular local events blog Trixie’s List, sells cookies at the Farmers’ Market, and writes gay erotica to keep things interesting. 

Named one of “50 Innovators Shaping the Future of Wellness” by SONIMA, Lodro Rinzler’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, Good Morning America, CBS, and NBC. He is the author of eight meditation books including The Buddha Walks into a Bar and the forthcoming You Are Good / You Are Enough. His books Walk Like a Buddha and The Buddha Walks into the Office have both received Independent Publisher Book Awards.
