Presented by Operation Unite NY, the Hudson Sankofa Black Arts and Cultural Festival looks at the past, present and possibilities for the future, through the lens of people of color. Come down to Henry Hudson Riverfront Park August 14-15 for a weekend of music, dancing and a colorful parade!

4:00pm Drum Circle led by Olympia Ward Avignone of the High Peak Drummers

5:00pm Gospel Festival and Annual Sunday Service featuring Marlene Merritt and the Rainbow Singers, followed by Minister Gayle Heyward of Willingboro, NJ

Operation Unite Education and Cultural Arts Center is a community-based education and cultural arts organization located in Hudson. Operation Unite NY offers educational, cultural and social programs including instruction in the performing arts, to youth and their families in Hudson and neighboring communities.
