“The greatest white female singer in the world.” — Ella Fitzgerald

Maye, at 91-years young, is one of the remaining geniuses from the golden age of show business. Discovered by Steve Allen and beloved by Johnny Carson who featured her on The Tonight Show no less than 76 times, the legendary jazz singer Marilyn Maye brings her trio and enormous talent to the stage at Hudson Hall. The evening opens with selections from Opera Ebony’s Greg Sheppard and tenor John Philip, with new arrangements of some Sixties classics.
