Saturdays beginning October 8

Please note, the first session of Kuumba Dance & Drum will take place in the pocket park across from Hudson Hall at 11am, rather than the normally scheduled 10:30am starting time. This class will only be drumming, and will not include dance instruction.

African Drum Instruction: 10:30am – 11:30am
Family African Dance: 11:45am – 12:20pm
Ages 12 – 18, free, adults $5

In partnership with Operation Unite NY, join weekly African drumming and dance classes celebrating African history and culture. Bring a drum of your own or share one of Kuumba’s.
